New blog

I'm starting this blog in an initiative to improve my photography and develop as a photographer. While I have been photographing with various intensity for about twenty years, lately my photography has been very closely connected with my outdoor and cycling activities. This will not change, at least not much. My other blog does contain good material and images, but I have been feeling that I repeat myself too much, hence the motivation for this blog.

This initiative also coincides with a switch to lighter and lesser photography equipment, moving from a quality DSLR system to a smaller mirrorless MFT system. The word light in the name of this blog thus have two meanings.

The blog will contain my ponderings about photography, mainly of nature and outdoor activities, that do not fit nicely on my outdoor and cycling blog. I will discuss gear, my efforts to develop as a photographer, practical aspects of photographing outdoors with minimal gear, handling challenging conditions and anything else I see fit.
